Cruz Foam is the first product to score a perfect 100 on the Lomi-approved test. This means our product broke down in the Lomi within 1 cycle whereas most compostable products take 2 cycles

Cruz Foam meets the ASTM 6400 and D6868 D5338 standards for compostability. Cruz Foam biodegrades within 103 days in industrial conditions.

Cruz Foam is proud to be a part of the USDA BioPreferred ProgramⓇ, a USDA-led initiative that aims to facilitate the development and expansion of markets for biobased products.
70% upcycled food-waste
Cruz Foam is made from 70% upcycled food waste ingredients. These ingredients were destined for landfill or other waste sites and we are able to give them a second life in our foam. Our unique makeup makes Cruz Foam an excellent feedstock for compost because our foam is mostly food.
